With a deep sense of patriotism and high resolve, I am fully committed to one obligation – the obligation to devote every effort of my body, mind and spirit to lead the land that we love our country Sierra Leone to greatness. The support from fellow Sierra Leoneans has built a platform on which I can stand with enthusiasm and conviction. At this early moment of our campaign, united and determined, we will go forward together dedicated to transform our nation. Together we will win. Together We Can.
My fellow Sierra Leoneans, no political party can guarantee anything, but what we can do and what we shall do is to deserve victory and victory will be ours. Under any circumstances, however, the victory we seek to get the APC presidential flag-bearer will not be easy. We all know that in our hearts. We recognize the power of the forces that will be aligned against us. I am not from the political status quo. Our concern must be with the future. The biblical scripture says: “Where there is no vision the people perish.” My vision is to create opportunities for the people to take care of themselves and their family. My vision is to build a middle class in Sierra Leone during my tenure as president. My vision is to create jobs, jobs and more jobs. My vision is to compete with the new global economy. My vision is to see a well educated Sierra Leone. No child will be left behind in education. A solemn promise I owe to the children of Sierra Leone. My vision is to create a modernize health care system in Sierra Leone. My vision is to see Sierra Leone Airways planes in major airports all around the globe. My vision is to reduce corruptions at all levels in our society. My vision is for every Sierra Leonean to have access to clean tap running water at all times. My vision is to have energy/electricity 24/7 in Sierra Leone. The old era is ending. The old ways will not do. Our country’s future is bright. When I am your President, the rest of the world will not look down on us with pity, but up to us with the respect we deserve as a God gifted nation.
We started this campaign early so we can seize this moment and build relationships to renew our faith in ourselves and each other to make our country a better nation. I am calling on every citizen to reach out and join us in a great new adventure to chart a bold new future for Sierra Leone.
Our main objective must be our country, our whole country and nothing but our country. Our campaign is about putting people first. I ask that you join me and that together, we give an active and courageous leadership to the people of Sierra Leone. I am committed to provide new leadership for our country in 2017/18.
