For obstruction… Police Constable detained
SLP 10664 Bangura K. was detained at the Kissy ‘D’ Division for obstructing colleague police officers while on duty investigating an alleged crooked Nigerian businessman.
Police sources intimated to this press that the detained SLP10664 Bangura K. employed violence and intimidation to stop them from arresting notorious Nigerian businessman ‘Ernest Auto Spares’ who also owns a shop at Bai Bureh Road via the Hotel 5:10.
Our report confirmed that this so-called Nigerian businessman who purported to be a close friend of Constable Bangura is allegedly in possession of stolen spare parts including, starters and heavy equipment belonging to the mining magnate, Octea also known as Koidu Holdings in Kono.
The report continued that the detained constable is attached to the Central Police Station and upon his knowledge that his colleagues were about to effect arrest on the said Nigerian businessman, he swiftly appeared in the scene and tried to stop the arrest of the shop attendant, Ibrahim Jalloh.
PC 10664 Bangura K who is attached to the Central Police Station is said to be in the usual habit of intervening in matters concerning his Nigerian friend and the police, and he is also reported to be a bad blooded police officer that is always in the company of dubious people.
Meanwhile the matter has been transferred to the Ross Road Division Headquarters whilst Ibrahim Jalloh is still in Police nets and his boss Ernest Auto Spares is on the run.
