SLAJ opens Book of Condolence for departed colleague
THURSDAY 18TH JULY, 2013 – The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) will on Monday July 22, 2013 open a Book of Condolence at the Harry Yansanneh Hall, SLAJ Secretariat in respect of the death of our colleague, Mr. Jon Z. Foray.
Mr. Foray, who died on Monday July 15, 2013 after a long illness, had worked with the New Citizen and We Yone newspapers, and until his death with the Democrat newspaper.
As SLAJ continues to mourn with the bereaved family for this irreparable loss, it encourages all its members, including all practicing journalists, to endeavour to sign the Condolence Book as we pay final respect to our departed colleague.
The Book will be opened from 9:30am – 5:00pm from Monday until Mr. Foray is buried on Friday July 26, 2013.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
