MP Jajua cries for government support
Freetown, June 19 (SLENA) – The Member of Parliament for Constituency 007 in Kailahun District has called on the Government of Sierra Leone and all sports loving fans and descendants of Segbwema, Njaluahun Chiefdom to come the aid of his people by improving the lives of the youths of the constituency through the construction of a mini stadium. In an exclusive interview with SLENA, the Member of Parliament said he was saddened by the lack of recreational facilities in his constituency, noting that one of the instruments used to build and develop a youthful population is through sport.
He expressed his disappointment at the present state of the town’s field which has few damaged concrete blocks packed somewhere inside the field which he said cannot build a fence.
He therefore urged government and other partners to help the youth in that part of the country to develop their mental aptitude through sports.
