SSGI Workers Threaten Strike-Action
Information reaching this medium reveals that disgruntled workers of the SSGI Security Agency have threatened to go on strike for deplorable conditions of service.
Our sources reveal that the workers are aggrieved over the meager salaries they receive and that the workers have issued an ultimatum that if their salaries are not increased in the shortest possible time, they will be left with no alternative but to go on a sit-down strike.
Some of the disgruntled workers who prefer anonymity alleged that their contractors pay huge sums of money but that their employers pay them infinitesimal sums of money, a situation which they say is not going down well with them. They said they are no longer prepared to continue tolerating such financial maltreatment from their superiors.
Meanwhile, the management is yet to respond to the allegations of the aggrieved workers.
