Njala Principal cries for urgent help
Lack of sufficient accommodation and the mad increase in the number of students…
The Njala principal is begging for help owing to the rapid increase in the enrollment of students in the University. Since parents and students realize that Njala is one of the best places of learning, not only in Sierra Leone, but in Africa and the world at large, this has brought about a huge increase in the number of students enrolling at the university, which is the second largest university in Sierra Leone.
This is a huge worry for the authorities as most of the students and lecturers can no longer be accommodated in the limited facilities in the campus and they have to live far off in Bo, Kenema or Taiama.
According to the principal and vice chancellor Professor Alhaji Abu Sesay; this is not good for the students or the lecturers if at all we want better academic achievement.
Professor Sesay also drew attention to the 7 miles of devastated road from the Taiama Bo highway to Njala.
This urgent call is directed to the government of Sierra Leone in one way and To Whom It May Concern in another way!
