The Executive Director, a Sierra Leonean model actress has had her involvement in the shooting of ‘Ghetto Queen’ not for the sake of money, but to help promote the movie industry in Sierra Leone.
Trained and experienced film directors from Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK have been consulted and will be here in Sierra Leone to respectfully showcase their God-given talents in the shooting of one of a type movie that is of Sierra Leonean culture, education, background and taste.
“I have shot four movies in Nigeria,” Zainab said.
“I know it is expensive importing international movie directors to shoot a film in Sierra Leone. But for the sake of promoting the Sierra Leone movie industry, I have sacrificed my time, money and energy to see my country produce a film that will self-assuredly attract arenas of international organizations the world over.”
The movie ‘Ghetto Queen’ is borne out of the inspiration and desire to put Sierra Leone high up on the world’s movie ratings.
The film will target its intended customer’s vis-à-vis cinemas, homes, etc., to enhance education and promote the country’s film industry.
Albeit constrains, it is hoped that standard cameras and other filming equipment will be used in shooting ‘Ghetto Queen’ to produce good pictures, sounds, locations and classic backgrounds.
