Poetry Corner – Your attitude and you
Attitude is like the clothes you wear,
When soiled, you can change into another
In order to express your personality in a way
That really matters.
So you can depart
From the usual bad practice
Of being the odd one out
In the midst of humanity.
Just like your shadow
You carry your attitude wherever you go
And it will speak to anybody, anywhere, anytime
It is no doubt why plain living and high thinking
Frowns on moral bankruptcy
For it is preferable to think positive
Speak positive and do positive
Anyway from the mistakes of the past
With little love and understanding in attendance.
Don’t you feel any shame?
In loosing your sense of dignity?
Advisably strive to elevate your society
With the exceptional quality
Of positive mental and behavioral attitudes
Gaze into it carefully that you may help drive
Your country into that desirable direction.
