69 year old male abuses 7 year old girl
Imurana Sheika Sherriff, a 69 year old male, has been accused of allegedly abusing a 7 year old girl.
The accused of 9 Thomas Street, Kamanda Town section, Bo appeared before Magistrate Alphonso Fidawi on Wednesday 1st May, 2013 at Bo Magistrates Court on a two count charge related to a sexual offence against a 7 year old girl.
Count one of the charges touches on sexual penetration of a child contrary to Section 19 (Act No 12) of the Sexual Offense Act of 2012, and count two speaks about sexually touching a child contrary to Section (20) (1) (A) Act N012 of the Sexual Offenses Act of 2012.
Particulars of the offense state that the accused, Imurana Sheika Sheriff, on Saturday April 27th 2013 sexually penetrated a seven year old girl at his residence.
No plea was taken as the matter was adjourned to 8th May, 2013. Meanwhile report states that the class one pupil is still under serious medical attention.
