2013 Revenue… FCC Targets Aberdeen

Freetown City Council (FCC) is expected to be in Aberdeen, Western Freetown, today to collect this years city rates and business licenses.

FCC’s Public Relations Officer, Cyril Mattia, told Sierra Express Media that the routine tax collection exercise will involve the mayor, Franklyn Gibson, the press, community stakeholders, security officers and councilors.

Mr. Mattia did not disclose how much the council is targeting this year but revealed that forty percent of this year’s revenue will be judiciously utilized for the development of the various wards in the city while ten percent will go to the tax collectors and the remaining fifty percent will be used for municipal projects.
