Teacher Rapes 10 yrs old Pupil
Class teacher, Santigie Kissito Bangura of Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Primary School (SLMB), Sorie Town, Freetown, Monday, 18th March allegedly raped a ten years old pupil at his residence at 122 Leicester Road, Freetown.
The teacher, on the said date lured the young child after he asked her and two of her male friends to collect books at his house. After which, he dispatched the two boys leaving the girl on the excuse that the girl will take the other materials behind them.
Bangura cunningly started playing with the child’s sensitive organs and later stuffed the girl’s mouth with bed pillow, preventing her from shouting while he penetrated her. The girl put-up resistance by shouting and youths within that vicinity rushed in to rescue her.
The parents of the said girl while at the scene shed tears as they beheld their poor child deflowered by her teacher who is supposed to be her second parent. The police were later called upon as well as Head Principal of the school, Mrs. Karim, who described the incident as an unfortunate scenario.
Teacher Bangura was later whisked to the Police Station where he was detained for further questioning as investigations continue; while the child was sent to the Rainbow Center branch at the PCMH Cottage Hospital for tampered virginity check up, which result was unavailable at press time.
