No Sports Minister for Leone Stars – Tunisia Clash
The proposed controversial Sports Minister Paul Abu Bakarr Mohamed Kamara will not witness as head of delegation, Leone Stars’ third match in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Cathrage Eagles of Tunisia on Saturday March 23 2013 at the Rades Stadium in Tunis.
Acting General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) hinted Kamara will not be present for the match as he has to attend to other official functions during the week.
“Mr. Paul Kamara is due to face Parliament this Friday for approval as the substantive Minister of Sports which is to all intent and purposes, more important than coming to Tunis to watch Leone Stars play,’ Abdul Rahman Swarray disclosed last night.
He said instead the new chairman of the Normalization Committee recently set up by world football governing body FIFA to clean up the mess currently buffeting the country’s football, Alie Fornah, will deputize Mr. Paul Kamara as head of the Sierra Leone delegation.
