Bollore Capacitates More Sierra Leoneans

Bollore Africa Logistics under a hiring policy to train workers is on the verge of enhancing the capacity of more technicians to boost the working age of the country.

According to Bolore project manager Keith Muller the company has commenced training of two students from the Saint Joseph Vocational Institute Lunsar to operate haulage and cranes at the site instead of bringing in more experts from abroad to cover the vacant positions.

Muller continued that over the past three months some graduates from the institute have been trained on how to operate double haulage track, stiff crane machines and site cranes and are now doing well in operating these equipments and another two students are also currently undergoing the same training.

Bollore project manager also informed this press that they are also training bull dozer operators to make them become more responsible and to be self disciplined.   He furthered that their target is to expand the training session but due to the available space they are only taking two at a time.

Currently Bollore has a 150 employees and by September this year they hope to increase that number to 200.
