Minister Vows to Boom Sports
The newly appointed Deputy Minister of Sports, Al Sankoh Conteh has vowed to revamp sports in Sierra Leone by working in concert with the private sector and all sporting organizations in the country.
The new Deputy Minister was speaking in an exclusive interview with this reporter.
He maintained that there is need for the private sector to invest in sports and for government to increase its spending on the discipline to improve it to an admirable point, adding that he will ensure that youths benefit from the sporting carrier.
Al Sankoh Conteh stressed the need for transparency and accountability in sporting, pledging to work in harmony with the Sports Minister to bring back discipline to sporting.
