Bio is no more relevant… Alpha Khan
The Minister of Information and Communication, Honorable Alhaji Alpha Khan has said in Freetown that the defeated flag bearer of the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), Julius Maada Bio is no longer relevant to the party.
The Information Minister was addressing journalists during a recent press briefing held at the Ministry of Information and Communication.
Alhaji Khan stressed that the SLPP Minority Leader in Parliament, Honorable Bernadette Lahai and the party’s National Chairman are now the most relevant figures due to the pivotal role they are playing in the democratic process.
He described Maada Bio as an ex-officio member of the party having lost the 2012 polls, noting that Bio should now consider himself an ordinary citizen and forget about his dream of continuing to serve as flag bearer of the party.

The uninformed Nimiser of Information or better yet Minister of Mis-information Alpha Khan;s remark about Maada Bio does not surprise democratically like-minded Sierra Leonean. Reducing BIO to nothingness for losing a rigged presitential elections is unfortumate.Maada Bio will remain in the political life of Sierra Leone for a long time as a CITIZEN and STATEMAN. President Obsma’s communication director will never say such a thing about Mitt Romney in American political event. But again Sierra Leoneans are slightly beginning to smell the re-emergence of One Party Lingua Franca at Sun rise. WATCH OUT!!!
