Bombshell for NPA staff in Sierra Leone as OGI/ACC set to institute investigations
Reports reaching this press are alleging that corruption within the National Power Authority (NPA) is reaching an alarming proportion.
According to sources, it is no secret that among officials that are to be probed is one Ajayie Wilson Taylor who has been recently transferred from one department to the other.
According to management source, Mr. Ajayie Wilkinson is in the habit of doing illegal business for customers at his private residence at the expense of the Authority.
Sources further pointed out that most illegal transactions within NPA is being championed by Mr. Ajayie Wilson Taylor simply because of his alleged connection to the ruling APC party and his link with top management personnel such as as Mr. Dennis Garay, the Deputy General Manager, and also because of his affiliation with a Lodge society.
According to sources within the NPA, many are happy this time round as they got wind about the investigations that are to commence by the Open Government Initiative (OGI) under the Office of the President Office State House and the Anti-Corruption Commission.
When contacted, Mr. Ajayie Wilson Taylor accepted the fact that corruption is ongoing but it is a syndicate that senior staff within various departments are very much aware of.
