Outgoing Minister vandalises office while leaving

The outgoing deputy minister of Social Welfare Gender and Children’s Affairs, Madam Rosaline Oya Sankoh (in photo) is alleged to have vandalized her office while leaving following her dismissal from that office in a new cabinet shake up.

Madam Rosaline Oya Sankoh, described as a wolf in sheep’s clothing by some workers at the Ministry is said to have amassed wealth in that ministry through unhealthy means.

Sources close to the ministry say when Mr. M B Atila, the new deputy minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs took up office last week, he discovered that there was no door bell, the air conditioner was not working. and the plasma television in the office had been removed.

On Monday, 21st January 2013, Mr. Atila who has been having difficulty in communicating to his personal assistant including his secretary was told that the door bell was there all these years which deputy had been using but now there was no bell.

While narrating Madam Sankoh’s activities in the ministry, a senior female staff recalled how one day the deputy minister physically attacked the minister, Mr. Steven Nguaja. “She considered herself as untouchable,” she added.

The senior staff went on to say that Rosaline Oya Sankoh while in office allegedly sold part of the Approved School land to private people. The new deputy minister has promised to investigate by first visiting the site at Wellington.

MB Atila is quoted as saying the Approved School land should remain as it was since nobody knows when government or an NGO would come to their aid.
