ECOWAS postpones summit again

ECOWAS postpones summit again

Though no reason was advanced for the postponement, a statement published by ECOWAS Department of Communication on January 15th, states that “among other issues, the Heads of State will consider the report of the Council of Ministers which took place in November 2009 in Abuja as well as the 2009 Annual Report of the President of the ECOWAS Commission”

“The summit of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government will now take place on Monday15th February, 2010.

The ECOWAS summit which should have taken place on 21st December 2009, saw its rearrangement for 18th January 2010.
