Musa Tarawally mobilizes Moyamba District ahead of President Koroma’s visit

The chairman Presidential Campaign Committee for South/East Musa Tarawally has started mobilizing Moyamba district ahead of the President’s official campaign visit scheduled for Monday. Musa paid a visit to his home district to mobilize various groups, traditional and religious leaders to strategize a befitting welcome for his boss.  (Photo: Musa Tarawally mobilizes Moyamba District ahead of President Koroma’s visit.)

Several youth and cultural groups had already gathered at the town center to receive their brother and cheered the moment they caught a glimpse of him. Musa Tarawally while addressing the people of Moyamba highlighted the President’s developmental projects in the district and said  that the President is willing and ready to do more for the district in his Second Term.

He informed the chiefdom of the President’s visit to the district on Monday and asked them to turn up to welcome the President appropriately. He asked the people of Fakunya Chiefdom to give the president the highest votes in the chiefdom during the November polls as the Paramount chief is a very good friend of the President.

The Paramount Chief of Fakunya Chiefdom Paramount Chief Kavula urged his people to be united under development and be honest with themselves when voting in November. He warned his people against malicious propaganda that the All Peoples Congress government is no longer in power. He told his chiefdom people that the government still remains and that the President and all his Ministers still hold their offices with all the authorities accompanied by those offices still intact.

The Paramount Chief pleaded with his people not to make the same mistake they made in 2007 by not voting  for the APC. The people of Fakunya and Moyamba District pledged not to only turn up to receive the president on Monday, but also vote massively for him on November 17, 2012.

The momentum building in Moyamba at the moment for the President’s visit is a clear indication and sign that the APC and President Koroma are guaranteed another successful rally in another South-Eastern District dubbed SLPP stronghold.
