Gay activist on the run

Gay activist, Septimus John of 11 Will Street, Freetown, on Sunday July 15, 2012 narrowly escaped death at the unholy hours of 4:45 am when irate and aggrieved community people went to his residence in search of him with sticks, knives, and other deadly weapons, shouting slogans like, “gays should die,” while denouncing gay activities.  (Photo: Gay activist Septimus John)

Septimus who is said to have escaped miraculously was nowhere to be found and the angry crowd resorted to harassing his family members as they reportedly uttered many death-threatening remarks on Septimus.

After several weeks of Septimus’ disappearance, family members became worried because since that day no one has heard from him or even knows where to locate or contact him.

Considering the death threats that were slammed on him by anti-gay community people, family members are calling on any person that knows the whereabouts of their son, Septimus to please contact the family at 11 Will Street, Freetown.

Upon investigation, this press discovered that Septimus John, President of the gay community organization called ‘Gays for Life’ has been bluntly preaching gay rights ideology in the community, saying men should have the right to marry each other.

Apparently, this angered a lot of members in the community including the Church that Septimus was attending, the community Mosque, and even the community elders and market women for the gay campaign Septimus has embarked on, which they believe is against all moral standards within the community and should not be tolerated as there are children that need protection.

Nonetheless, family members and elders took the matter to the police who are now helping in locating the gay activist.
