Sierra Leoneans in Tunisia rally behind Leone Stars

In an exclusive interview with this medium, a Sierra Leonean working for the African Development Bank in Tunis, Samuel Kamara, maintained that they will give both moral and spiritual support to the players to encourage them to give their best in the match, “we have already started demonstrating that by receiving the Sierra Leonean delegation that arrived in Tunis on Sunday night”, he added.
Kamara also told the players that their visit to them at the El- Mouradi hotel is part of what they had planned to give the team a rosy welcome, “ you will continue seeing us around you on to the end of the match on Saturday” he added.
Another Sierra Leonean who also visited the players Mohamed Konneh said, the boys should use all their might in order to win the match.
“Even though the Tunisians have the hosting advantage, they will be playing under pressure, as you have a rejuvenated squad to turn down their expectations”, he outlined.
He boasted that, “as Sierra Leoneans, we believe in working under pressure to achieve”.
Konneh also called on Sierra Leoneans back home, to offer special prayers in churches and mosques for victory.
According to him, there are seventeen Sierra Leoneans working in Tunisia in different organisations, and that, they are united as people coming from the same country. “Expect to see us all at stadium in Monastir come Saturday”, he concluded.
Leone Stars arrived in Monastir on Wednesday ahead of the match on Saturday after a three day stay in Tunis.
