Works Minister visits Tee-Marc Quarry Plant in Bo

Bo, September 28 (SLENA): In achieving the President’s good dream on infrastructural development in the country, the Minister of Works, Housing and Infrastructure, Alimamy P. Koroma with professionals from the Sierra Leone Road Transport Authority had paid a visit to the Crusher Tee-Marc and Quarry Plant Construction Company in Bo.

The Minister, in his statement said his ministry and SLRA are working tooth and nail to ensure that the President’s dream on infrastructure is achieved and that road within the townships and trunks in the country are well constructed and on time.

Minister Koroma called on the people of Moyamba, Bonthe, Pujehun and Mattru Jong to continue to be patient as his government will soon make certain that they too enjoyed their rights to good roads during the dry season.

In his remarks, the Director of SLRA, Munda Rogers, disclosed that this project is being funded by the Government of Sierra Leone and assured that all the roads would be tarred to standard

During his speech, the Chairman of the company, Remi Olunuyiwa, allayed the fears of the people in that part of the country, stating that his company was now well equipped with machinery and other resources needed for the completion of their work.

He also made mention of the installation of the advanced Crusher and Quarry Plant which he said are well set in order to prevent delay in the construction process.

He guaranteed that his company is committed to provide job opportunities for the people within the communities they work.

The visit was climaxed by the demonstration of the operations of the plants at the Quarry site.
