COFA Competition, Lumley Striker’s Team Manager Assures Fans

As preparation ahead of the Central One Football Association (COFA) league scheduled to take place at the Parade playing field with 48 Community teams gathers momentum, three times champion, Lumley Strikers FC are undergoing intensive training sessions at the MAFA playing field in preparation for the big contest this season.

Speaking to the team manager of Lumley Strikers FC at Lumley field, T.M. Thomas Daddy Brima popularly known as “Mac-Dad” said in terms of preparation, he is far ahead of plans and only waiting for their opening match next month.

“We have quality players plying their trade with Premiership clubs and we are optimistic that this team is one of the favourites to lift the COFA 2012-13 championship trophy”, he boasted. He appeals to all to support their community team as usual so that they can challenge this time round and win the 4th trophy.

Thomas Daddy Brima is a football philanthropist and a politician and he will be contesting for the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) for the Mayoral seat in the Western Area in November 17th 2012.
