U Na Artist or U Na Tamatis will be a national music talent competition launched by WAB City
WAB City is a registered community based organization set up by ambitious young people of the Sierra Leone Diaspora. The aim of the organisation is to “showcase the hidden talents” of people in Sierra Leone and West Africa as a whole.
The first project that the organisation has launched is a music talent competition known as “U Na Artist or U Na Tamatis”. The winner of the show will get A CAR, RECORDING DEAL AND 5 MILLION LEONES.
Auditions for this show will start in December 2012 but registration has already started for ONLY 5, 000 Leones all around Sierra Leone in main districts such as Freetown, Makeni, Lungi etc.
The show hopes to get the whole country involved by voting for their favourite contestant to win.
Anyone over 8 years of age can participate and all music genres are welcome.
Contestants will go through various audition stages until the final, when the people of Sierra Leone will choose the winner.
WAB City is also looking for any organisation that would help to sponsor them whether financially or through other means to make this show a success. Any support from anyone will be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
