German FC Lifts John Monrovia Trophy
German FC have emerged champions of the John Monrovia sponsored community league following a convincing 2-0 victory against Kissy All Stars on Sunday August 19th at Juba Barracks playing field.
Both teams played a balanced game in a goalless first half, but the German FC changed the possession line in the second half which paid them two vital goals.
Speaking to the sponsor of the competition, John Monrovia (in photo) he said he is delighted with the performance of all participating club teams, technical teams, supporters and the security personnel. He promised to organize another big football tournament next month.
