FAs Mandate Ends Tomorrow
The four years mandate of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) will come to an end on Thursday July 19.
President of the FA Nahim Khadi (in photo) is currently in Freetown after spending the whole of his second term in England. His arrival when elections are around the corner is becoming a popular concern to football stakeholders in the country who are already divided into various camps.
Nahim Khadi has served two terms which renders him not eligible to contest for a third term in the August elective congress.
Nahim Kadi’s Vice President, J.S. Keifala is a presidential aspirant in the upcoming elective congress. His second Vice President, Alie Commoner Kargbo is running mate to Madam Isha Johansen, the only female presidential aspirant for the August congress.
J.S. Keifala, Rodney Michael and Isha Johansen are the remaining three presidential contestants to succeed the outgoing Nahim Khadi.
