Sierra Leone Bottling Company’s “Minute Maid” out with a Bang

New “Minute Maid” of the Sierra Leone Bottling Company was proudly branded the new darling of beverages in a fanfare over the weekend at the Hotel Barmoi resort, Aberdeen, Freetown.

The Sierra Leone Bottling Company (SLBC), the sole authorizing bottler of the Coca Cola soft drink and leading beverage manufacturer in Sierra Leone are the brand manufacturers.

Master of Ceremony who doubles as the Public Affairs Manager of SLBC, Michael Yambasu, said “Minute Maid”, the new product, is a 100% fruit juice manufactured with best Vitamin C recipes to give the right flavour of fruit drinks.

He informed all present at the launch that this new brand of soft drink shall win the best made flavour as its qualities are exceptional.

Guest of Honour, Adonis Aboud, Managing Director of Transnational DSTV and Vice President of the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce and Industry said in the business world, only a few investors would choose to risk their finances for special reasons. He said only 20% of businessmen do spend on clear prospect investments.

“Today, the Sierra Leone Bottling Company is here again to launch another challenging product, says Adonis Aboud while applauding the efforts of the company in taking the strains of introducing new product brands.

SLBC’s Finance Manager, Mrs. Rebecca Priddy said the Sierra Leone Bottling Company is proud to beget another product, the “Minute Maid”. In terms of socio economy, she said, launching the product is likely to create job opportunities for marketers, distributors, sales clerks, sales agents and brand advertisers. She expressed optimism that their new product would be in for a serious competition.

Speaking more on the quality design of the new product, SLBC’s Commercial Manager Thomas Tingan said their vision is to introduce quality products into the market. He said Minute Maid was first produced in the United States of America over 60 years ago, adding that the product has become one of the biggest juice brands produced globally.
