HRCSL moves to Bumbuna for public hearing

Freetown, July 11, 2012: HRCSL wishes to inform the public and its partners that the Panel Hearing of the Public Inquiry into the alleged gross violation of Human Rights in Bumbuna, Tonkolili District, in relation to the events of 16th, 17th and 18th April, 2012 has been scheduled to be held from 16th – 20st July, 2012 at the Bumbuna Local Court Baray.

A panel of three has been constituted with one co-opted member from the public and a total of 15 interested parties and 36 witnesses invited to testify before it.

The General Public including the media is invited to attend the inquiry which will start 9:00am and end at 4:00pm each day.
