Leone Stars Rodney Strasser to donate in Bo
Leone Stars and AC Milan midfield maestro, Rodney Strasser (in photo) will be donating assorted items to street kids, underprivileged and school going children in the Southern city of Bo on Saturday June 23rd.
Speaking to Sierra Express Media sports, he said he has passion for the street kids, especially those without good parental care and support.
“I’ve done several charity gestures to the kids, the elderly, and the less privileged people in Freetown in the past, this time it’s the turn of the kids in Bo City.”
“I’m disturbed seeing the lawlessness being unleashed by a cross section of young folks in the country which is due to the lack of good parental care”, the Rosoneri star fumed.
The midfielder will be accompanied by colleagues of the Leone Stars team. A charity match will be played in honour of the donation at the Bo Coronation Field wherein players in Bo will have the opportunity to play against players of the national side, Leone Stars, on the same day.
The ex-Kallon FC midfielder is highly respected in the country for his gestures to the less privileged children of Salone.
