Leone Stars suffer double defeat in May friendlies
Leone Stars were defeated twice in their international friendly matches this month against Iraqi and Jordan.
On Wednesday 23rd May Leone Stars were defeated 1-0 Iraqi in Turkey. The lone goal against Leone Stars was scored from a long range volley in the 3rd minute.
On Saturday 26th May 2012, Leone Stars again were humiliated 4-0 by the Jordanian National side which scored a brace in each half.
Supporters of Leone Stars were disappointed with the dismal performance of the team which will wreck the team’s current ranking in the world.
Leone Stars will play three competitions next month in both World Cup and Nations Cup competitions. The team arrived Freetown in Monday.
