Ross Road Police take a proactive stance

Sergeant 1579 Kargbo, head of Ross Road Community Policing in an interview with this medium said as a result of the rate of road accidents across the country they have engaged the John F Kennedy, Kola Learning Academy, Bishop Johnson Memorial Secondary School, Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Black Hall Road, to educate them on how to use road signs in order to avert accidents.  The schools visited suggested speed bumps in front of the schools noting that it will serve as a tech for vehicles plying the main highway.

Mr. Spencer, Principle of John F Kennedy said his major problem is with bike riders noting that drivers normally check whenever they notice school children, but this habit is  not demonstrated by many bike riders.

Sergeant Kargbo advised school children to take the names and numbers of any traffic police that refuses to cross them whenever they want to cross the road, adding that they in turn should stop playing in the streets and remember to always to use the footpaths.
