12 year old found dead in Kenema
12 year old Gamoh Bawoh of 7 Second Street, Kenema, was on Wednesday 9th May, 2012 found dead in a swamp at the back of Holy Roses Secondary School (HRSS) building in Kenema.
Speaking to this press, a man who described himself as the father of the deceased, Mr. Abdul Bawoh, said that he came to know that his son was missing on Monday 7th May, 2012 at 5 p.m. and as a responsible father he conducted a search by visiting all the friends of the deceased but none had seen him all day. The father later reported the matter to the Kenema police for onward investigation.
Mr. Bawoh said that it was on Wednesday morning that he heard some rumors that there was a dead body around the SDA primary school and he decided go and crosscheck whether the body was his son but surprisingly to him he could not see his son or the dead body.
He reiterated that it was after his return home that he got further news that his son’s body was at the swamp at the back of HRSS and thereafter called the attention of the police.
The deceased is presently at the Kenema Government hospital awaiting while the matter is undergoing investigation at Kenema police station
