The Independent Media commission (IMC) wishes to inform the general public that the media organization/practitioners who were fined for contravention of various sections of the IMC Code of Practice have all paid their fines.

The Commission wishes to remind all media practitioners that any contravention of the Code and Act by them will be dealt with according to the prescribed sanctions.

Repetition of such violations will leave the commission with no alternative but to take stiffer measures, including withdrawal of licenses and suspension.
