Premier League, first round wraps up next week
Fourteen teams in the Sierra Leone Premiership League will play their final matches next weekend in their first leg rounds of the competition.
Some clubs have already played their final matches and four matches will be played across the country on the same day.
In today’s encounter, Freetown City FC will engage Mighty Blackpool at the National Stadium in Freetown in a similar manner Kamboi Eagles FC of Kenema will host Old Edwardians at the Kenema Independence field.
On Saturday April 28, defending champion’s Ports Authority FC will take Kissy All Stars at the National Stadium and the final match will wrap up between first round untouchable leaders FC Kallon against the killers, East-End Lions on Sunday April 29.
The fourteen clubs include: FC Kallon, Diamond Stars Old Edwardians, FC Johansen, E.E. Lions, Central Parade, Bo Rangers, Kamboi Eagles, Ports Authority, Mighty Blackpool, Gem Stars, Wusum Stars, Kissy All Stars and FCFC.
Ninety-one matches have played so far in the first round of the competition and the second round is scheduled for May this year.
