Afsatuā€™s Appeal Case Commences Soon – The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) last week disclosed on the media that it will commence submission in appeal case of Afsatu Kabba on April 19th of this year.

Commissioner Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara made this disclosure while updating the press of his organisation’s operations during the first quarter of 2012.

He said lawyers defending the former minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources has long filed an appeal against the ruling on the High Court in the matter between the state against client – Afsatu.

Cacao Show set for success – The popular Cacao show technically known as National Agricultural Fair slated for the 18th in Kenema has been given glamour as opposed to the first one held last year in Makeni Northern Sierra Leone.

At a well attended press briefing on Friday at the Ministry Conference room, the minister, Sam Sesay said the Cacoa show will be unique taking into consideration some of the facelifts the ministry have put in place this time round in order to give more opportunities and motivation for rural farmers to see the need to invest in the agriculture and further create the platform where everybody would feel the desirability and profitability in agricultural activities.
