Usu Boie fulfils fire victim promises
Victims of Constantine Magazine on Sunday April 15 received 200 bags of cement and five bundles of zinc from Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara.
The former SLPP flag bearer aspirant visited Constantine Magazine days after he jetted home from the United Kingdom following a candle lighting fire that swept a total of 92 shanties comprised of over one thousand inhabitants.
Out of humanitarian feeling Usu Boie offered the cement and zinc to replace the facilities that house the poor in that part of the slum community in Freetown. The cement was distributed to the beneficiaries according to the number of rooms in the houses that were burnt.
Usu also donated 12 bags of cement for the construction of a bridge in the same community.
Receiving the items the beneficiaries thanked Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara in absentia through his brother, Dr. Foday Boie Kamara who delivered the items in person.
Dr. Foday told the beneficiaries to utilise the items well to earn themselves shelters once again. The donation in cash value is worth over Le 8 Million.
