In the WAFA 2nd Division League…Giants FC to engage Christiano Boys today
Giants FC will engage Christiano Boys FC today at the Football Academy in Freetown the ongoing Western Area Football Association’s Second Division League competition.
27 clubs are placed in three groups of nine teams and each club engages each other on a league basis and the winner of each group gains automatic promotion to the First Division League next season.
The 27 Participating clubs include, New Site, Waterloo, Tombo Strikers, Mabureh, Galaxy, Eastern Rangers, Obama FC, Sir Albert FC, Sunday United, Estate Contractors, Hawks, Luawa FC, Leicester City, Blackhall Strikers, Kelly FC, Nottingham Forest, Giants FC, Goderich FC, Kallon Jnr. Prisons, Standard FC, Real Mark, Young Stars and both Giants FC and Christiano Boys FC who will be in action today.
Speaking to the Sierra Express Media Sports, the Secretary General of Giants FC, Ephraim Stafford said they are optimistic of carrying the day as they have done their homework well.
Christiano Boys owner, Christiano Tantera said they are all set to celebrate their first match victory.
