Old Edwardians defeat FCFC
In the Sierra Leone Premier League football competitions, Old Edwardians FC continued their good form on Monday as they washed Freetown City FC 1-0 at the National Stadium main bowl.
The lone goal was scored by James Kamara early in the 1st half from a left flank cross.
Old Edwardians were the better side although they missed several goal scoring chances in the first and second halves of the match.
They lie second in the table with 19 points having played ten matches so far.
FCFC lays bottom of the table with 6 points having played ten matches.
Coach Bobson of FCFC said he is currently working on his formula to change the tide in the team with an instilled discipline.
Moreover, EE Lions will be playing against Kamboi Eagles of Kenema at the National Stadium today.
