SLPP’s Tamba Sam calls for extension of voters’ registration
The main opposition, Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has urged government and the National Electoral Commissioner to extend the Biometric Voters’ Registration in gray areas.
Honorable Musa Tamba Sam said the country has a good number of Sierra Leoneans who have very little or no education regarding the three months registration ultimatum.
The main opposition party is deeply concerned and wants the Commissioner Christiana Thorpe to extend the registration date to give fair chance to the remote gray areas where people are incidentally not aware of the date of closure.
