General Sfano appears on National TV Today

Popular afro-pop composer, singer and dancer, Sylvester Francis Aaron Njawa –Sesay aka General Sfano is going to feature on the popular ‘We Yus’ Program of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC).

Sfano is establishing the Sfano Michael Jackson Children’s Development fund and is sharing his views on national television. Speaking to Sierra Express Media  in an interview yesterday, Sfano said his agency is first to be established in Sierra Leone as a music umbrella foundation seeking to heal the world with inspiration and knowledge.

Sfano who always regards Michael Jackson as a music icon model said he is exhuming Jackson’s legacy of bridging the gap between blacks and white, Muslims and Christians, a vision he said the late pop star realised.

He spoke about his latest album “Better Late than Never”, an album with 10 soundtracks adding to his first twenty-one songs released of mixed genres.

Sfano’s current album on sale explains the rhetoric, why he is only hitting now. In answer he believes his right time is now. “In life, I personally believe that one has to persevere and improve to become a brighter star”, he noted.

Sfano said he is focused even though the people believe he should have showcased his music talent before now. He said this inspired him to title his album: “Better Late than Never.”

On his album launch, Sfano said he is using the occasion to raise funds to establish the Sfano Michael Jackson Children’s Development Fund; and for this April 6 is already set out for his album show at the Family Kingdom, Aberdeen, west of the capital Freetown.

Reason for the coinage of Sfano and Michael Jackson, he explained is to maintain, and if possible sustain, Michael Jackson’s name and glorious legacies he bequeathed the world – being able to achieve racial unity and love for children. He believes music is one powerful talent that unifies everybody irrespective of tribe, race, religion and region.
