Airtel – Public Notice

It has come to the notice of management and staff of Airtel that our customers receive calls, supposedly from Airtel, informing them of winning gift items on some promotions. Customers are asked to provide personal information or send the caller some credit/airtime before they can redeem their prizes.

Please note that Airtel has not collaborated or authorised any party to make calls to customers to inform them of any ongoing promotions or winnings on any promotion, neither do we request for customers to send us airtime before prizes are redeemed or ask customers to divulge confidential information. Airtel will only contact customers to inform them of promo wins using 076 450 000.

Please be on your guard and ignore any such calls from fraudulent person’s claiming to represent the company with the intention of stealing your personal information.
