Salone Radio Amsterdam’s Coordinator in Sierra Leone
The coordinator of Salone Radio Amsterdam, Mr Hassan Bunani, left The Netherlands for Sierra Leone yesterday. Mr Bunani who is also the Chairman of Sierra Leone Foundation in Amsterdam is in Sierra Leone to monitor and evaluate projects that are being implemented in Sierra Leone by the Foundation. Sierra Leone Foundation in Amsterdam contributes to the promotion of the right to education in Sierra Leone. Amongst others, the Foundation pays school fees for children whose parents can ill-afford it.
The Foundation, in collaboration with two other Sierra Leone diaspora organizations, runs the Salone Radio Amsterdam. Salone Radio Amsterdam uses the media to contribute to the political and socio-economic development of Sierra Leone.
During his stay in Sierra Leone, Mr Bunani will also embark on meeting political heavyweights in the forth-coming elections. He will conduct interviews with stakeholders in the general elections that are scheduled for next year.
