That the amount was under his control, but was given management of the FCC, who claimed are charged with the responsibility of the maintenance and construction of markets inFreetown.

He made this disclosure while addressing a number of journalists at the usual weekly press briefing at the conference room of the Ministry of Information.

He said however that up until the time of his handing of office as Trades Minister, the Le 880 million was in account of the ministry, and formed part of his handing over note.

He further said however that the Freetown City Council later asked for the money, thus delightful taking the onus to carry out the construction of the market as, according to them, it formed party of their policies.

That it was then that the said amount was passed on to management of Freetown City Council for continuance of the construction of the ultra modern market project.

Sierra Express has evidence in picture when President Koroma was receiving the Le 880 million cheque presented him by the CEO of Milestone Company, Nissim Leddy.

And it is not true that the existing Minister of Works, Alimamy Pepito Koroma, directly received the Le 880 million from management of Milestone Company.
