MINK makeup school moves to pioneering new studio!
On the 12th November 2011, MINK opened its doors to an influx of new students all eager to participate in the company’s new and improved 3-hour introductory course to makeup. Priced at just £29.99, 200 students registered for the course within the first 4 days of the announcement being made.
The 3-hour makeup course which includes practical application of a day and an evening makeup look, smoky eyes, application of false eyelashes, champagne and goodie bags, officially launched the new studio to the public.
The new studio has been designed to accommodate a range of services and makeup courses including the Beginners and Advanced makeup courses, special FX, one day master classes and one-to-one makeup tutorials.
The change is part of a period of evolution for MINK London that started in 2005 by award winning makeup artist Funmi Odegbami, who was also recently included on the Black Women in Europe™: Power List 2011, and has seen the school introduce key new tutors and makeup artists and embrace an agenda to make the mastery of makeup available to everyone. The new studio is designed to showcase this agenda.
Already the proud holders of makeup artist of the year BEFFTA award in 2011, MINK has also been nominated for Best Makeup at the Fashions Finest Awards and Young Business of the year at the NUBAA awards, MINK continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence.
