Police killer charged for murdering coworker
OSD officer, PC 13042 Prince Pettiquoi, who recently was held by the detective of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for killing a colleague police officer, has yesterday 14th made his first appearance before Magistrate Steven Conteh of Court No. 1 on a one count charge of murder contrary to law.
According to particulars of offence, it mentioned however that on Saturday 29th October 2011, at the Richard Allen High School Kissy, the accused murdered one John Kanu a police officer attached to the Lumley police station while on his way home after the day’s work.
No plea was taken at all. It was expected that the pathologist would have tendered his autopsy report to the court.
The matter was however adjourned to the 15th for further hearing. The accused was remanded in custody pending proceeding.
