“Investment Forum will show real Salone’’ Richard Conteh
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Richard Konteh (in photo), told newsmen in Freetown that the coming Trade and Investment Forum in Freetown at the Miatta Conference Centre will help portray the realities of what Sierra Leone is to the Western world.
He said the forum will take place on the 16 and 17th of November this week.
The last forum which was held in London was indeed a success story to people of Sierra Leone as it has increased the number of investors investing in Sierra Leone.
“This year’s investment forum will allow us to showcase the realities of Sierra Leone and remove the misconceptions that are making the rounds that Sierra Leone is still not safe,” the Minister said.
“With this,” he said, “We’ll show our credibility and remarkable achievements to the potential investors.’’
Dr Konteh emphasized that the forum will go a long way to improve on the business sector in Sierra Leone and will also create space for the domestic and private sector to grow.
