Sport Minister bouts with SLFA over ticket printing
Barely 24 hours to the Leone Stars Vs Egyptian encounter as they battle for qualification in the running up to African Nations finals, management of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Minister of Sport, Paul Kamara (in photo), are reportedly in fight as to who takes care of the printing and selling of tickets.
At a joint press conference held for either parties by the Minister of Information and Communications, Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo, management of SLFA made clear their points that it is their responsibility to run the match and not the Minister of Sport.
That they are in charge of the printing of tickets for the match and will unavoidably start distributions today Friday 2nd at respective points; at P.Z and at various locations around the National Stadium.
They said that the prices range as follows: open stand is Le 10,000 cover stand Le 100,000 and Presidential Le 200,000.
Unlike the Minister, it is reported that he will be selling tickets he wants to print at Le 15,000 for open stand, Le 150,000 for cover stand and Le 250,000 Presidential.
Nevertheless, Leone Stars players are reportedly showing DETERMINATION on winning tomorrow’s encounter against the Egyptians side.
It is reported also that the players are not happy with indifferences between the FA and the Minister.
“I’m sure it will affect us, the players,” Christian Caulker said.
