Ajax Monitor Salone Midfielder
Dutch top flight side Ajax Amsterdam over the past two weeks has been monitoring the progress of a young Sierra Leonean Midfielder, Claude Conteh, who plays for second division side Wanica FC, the club’s website stated.
The 18 year old midfielder has attracted top football clubs in the Dutch league, but no deal has yet been struck.
Ajax has been the latest club to show interest in the young Sierra Leonean wonder boy.
Reports reaching this press reveal that Conteh is in training with Dutch league winners and if all works well, he will pen a deal with Ajax and will be the third Sierra Leonean to play for a top club in the Dutch league.
Speaking through Facebook, the uncapped Sierra Leonean said he hopes to do his best in to get a contract with Ajax, citing that it will be very adventurous playing for one of the biggest teams in the world.
