Manchester United eyeing Sierra Leone strike sensation
According to talkSPORT, Manchester United are set to run the rule over AIK Solna strike sensation Tetteh Bangura this weekend, the latest in a long list of teams keen on watching the prolific forward in action.
The Sierra Leone striker is the hottest property in Sweden right now, with his 15 goals in as many games sparking interest among a string of European clubs.
Bangura, who recently scored all for goals in Solna’s 4-0 win over Halmstad, has attracted interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea in recent weeks.
The striker, 21, joined Solna in October 2010 on a three-year contract after impressing in the lower leagues and his stunning form in Sweden’s top-flight this season has caught the eye.
And now talkSPORT understands Manchester United is the next side to monitor the Sierra Leone international, with Sir Alex Ferguson’s chief scout and brother Martin expected to be present in the stands to watch Bangura in action against Elfsborg this weekend.
United are keen to see what the fuss is all about with Bangura and Ferguson is keen not to miss out on watching the rising star, having been made away of interest in him from his European rivals.
