CBF development league national finals
On Saturday 30th July, 8 teams from across Sierra Leone will come together at the National Football Academy, Kingtom to compete for the title of National Champions in both the under-12 and under-14 age categories of the Craig Bellamy Foundation Development League.
The CBF Development League, supported by UNICEF, uses football to empower a new generation to change their own and their communities’ lives for the better. Involving 2,000 children in four regions, the youth league focuses on increasing school attendance and respect for fair-play, whilst delivering health messages and social development projects that benefit other children and their communities.
The 8 teams involved in the National Finals have already emerged victorious in their respective regions, having competed for the title of CBF ‘Regional Champions’ over the past 10 months.
